LTC Jeff Meeker is the Team Chief for the Barbarian MiTT.
He is a native of the State of Ohio and a rabid Ohio State Buckeye fan...no National Championship jokes please.
His duties include advising the Iraqi Brigade Commander and his Deputy as well as trying to keep the team moving in the right direction which at times is more difficult than coaching a youth soccer team.
He is a career Armor/Cavalry officer whose previous position was as a tactics instructor at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
He has been married to the former Lisa Wiley for almost 18 years now. They have two great kids: a daugther - Eryn (13 years old) and a son - Nathan (9 years old).
His dislikes are too numerous to mention and his likes are not fit for public consumption.
He recently branch transferred to Simulation Operations and looks forward to fighting insurgents virtually as opposed to in a live environment.
